Morrison’s is an oyster bar and grill on George Street in Sydney’s CBD. It is known for freshly shucked oysters, premium Australian steaks and beef aged and hand-cut in-house, and a considered wine list curated by our Group Sommelier. With the feel of a classic city steakhouse, Morrison’s is open seven days for lunch, dinner and drinks.

Morrison’s is located at 225 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, in the CBD. It is a short walk from Wynyard Station and a few minutes from Circular Quay.

Morrison’s is open seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, from 11:30am until late. Our main menu is available until 9:30pm.

From the grill comes premium Australian beef, aged and hand-cut in-house. And our sommelier-curated wine list spans leading Australian and international producers. Morrison’s on George Street has built a reputation as one of Sydney’s leading oyster destinations. We offer at least four distinctive varieties daily, including Sydney Rock, Pacific and specialty oysters, each freshly shucked to order and displayed in our purpose-built brass oyster cabinet.

Oysters can be enjoyed natural or cooked, including Kilpatrick and battered. Every Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm, Oyster Hour offers Sydney Rock Oysters for $2 each.

Morrison’s on George Street serves premium Australian steaks, with beef hand-selected, aged and hand-cut in-house before it reaches the grill. Cuts include Cape Grim sirloin from Tasmania, Black Onyx rump cap and Stone Axe bone-in Wagyu sirloin, alongside a premium cut of the day. Yes. Morrison’s offers one of the most generous Happy Hours in the Sydney CBD, every weekday from 4pm to 6pm on George Street. Enjoy $12 Negronis and Aperol Spritzes, alongside $7.50 schooners, wines and spirits, with a complimentary selection of rotating chef’s snacks. Good Food has named it Sydney’s best Happy Hour.

Yes. Sunday Roast is a weekly tradition at Morrison’s, served every Sunday from 11:30am at 225 George Street in the Sydney CBD. Choose from slow-roasted Angus rump cap or free-range roasted pork loin with all the trimmings: Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, roasted vegetables, buttered greens and gravy. Two courses, roast and dessert, are $56 per person. Time Out has named it one of Sydney’s best Sunday Roasts. Bookings are recommended.

Yes. Located on George Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD, Morrison’s is a favourite for business lunches, client lunches and corporate dining. Open from 11:30am seven days, it offers a polished setting, attentive service and a menu of oysters, steak and wine that suits everything from a quick working lunch to long-form client entertaining. Yes. Morrison’s offers a range of spaces for group dining, celebrations and corporate events. For seated group dining, choose from the semi-private Conservatory for up to 20 guests, the Oyster Room within our Main Bar for up to 40 guests, or The Porch overlooking George Street for up to 12 guests. For cocktail-style events, the Conservatory holds up to 30 guests standing, and the Oyster Room and The Parlour up to 50 each.

Shared three-course menus start from $94 per person, and parties of 10 or more dine from one of our shared menus.
